"Good value " We stayed at Mike’s to participate on the Jerusalem Marathon and we couldn’t have find better place, good value. Very easy to find, there are two bus stations nearby and just asking people is very easy to move around to visit old town and any other place. For food and supermarket is few minutes walk on a nice and safe neighborhood. Anyway the kitchen is available to use and they gave you tea and coffee complementary. We enjoyed our stay and how helpful the staff was.

Mikes House was in a quiet residential neighbourhood around 30-40min walk to the old town. The family room (2 bedrooms) we were in was comfortable and met our needs and was good value compared to hotels in tourist areas. There are close bus stops where you can catch buses into the central station and the old town, which was quiet easy to navigate. The hosts were welcoming and assisted with information with things to see and do.

Amazing little hotel, VERY CLEAN and neat! Excellent service, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Would stay there another dozen times if opportunity presented. Just 2.5 miles from city center. Bus close but walking was more fun for meeting and interacting with the Israeli people.

We arrived late in the evening from a month of humanitarian work. Mike greeted us and when I expressed half jokingly that we were ready for a shower, rest and a glass of wine, he even provided us with a glass of wine! The hotel was quiet, family run and accommodating. The shower was wonderful and the bed quite comfortable. We would recommend Mike's house. If you are in Jerusalem to see sites, we found we could easily walk anywhere, but there is plenty of public transportation available if you prefer.

The staff helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We were 5 minutes from where we needed to be. I will definitely be returning to Mike's house in the future.

Common kitchen and entry garden sitting area along with roof top viewing area create great opportunity for guest interaction. ..we had 5 days of fascinating times with people from a half dozen countries. Staff and owner were of great assistance. .restaurants, bus guidance, activities and language help. Local neighborhood is really amazing..walking or bus to central Jerusalem. .blocks to grocery..close to German Colony...good food...you don't need climbing gear but it is up 60 steps to great roof top views. Staff will make it great for you.

Absolutely a great place to stay! Mike and the manager were so very kind and helpful. Personal service was beyond all expectations. And above any hotel I have ever stayed at. And I have traveled quite a bit around the world. When you come to Jerusalem, stay at Mike's house. It's not just a place to sleep. It's your home in Israel. Mike's house is gorgeously remodeled. It has an interesting history as being a button factory many years ago. And because my stay was so perfect I thought to leave a button of my own. It won't be my last.

Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. C'est un environnement très convivial. Les hôtes sont toujours disponible pour vous aider à vous diriger dans la ville. Peu importe de quel façon vous voulez vous déplacer. L'endroit est très bien desservi par les transport en commun. Ce qui facilite grandement les déplacements. Il y a même quelques petits restos et épicerie a proximité (3 minutes a pied). Il y a une cuisine à partager. Il est donc possible de se faire à manger sur place. Vous serez enchanté de l'endroit. Nous y avons fait de bel rencontre. Comme il s'agit d'un endroit chaleureux et intime, il n'est pas rare de discuter avec les autres voyageurs. Si toutefois nous retournons à Jerusalem, vous pouvez être certain que ce sera à cet endroit. Nous le recommandons à 100%.
